What happens to human consciousness when we die? In 1975, Dr. Raymond Moody’s landmark international bestseller “Life After Life” reported Moody’s investigation of 150 people who “clinically” died, were subsequently revived, and then reported similar extraordinary experiences. His book started a revolution in popular attitudes regarding evidence of an “afterlife,” and forever changed how many understand both death and life.
A seven-week near-death experiences (NDE) seminar taught by author and psychologist Maria Arapakis will be offered online via Zoom on Thursday mornings from Oct. 15 through Dec. 5 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. There will be no class on Nov. 26 because of Thanksgiving.
There is no charge, but reservations are required and space is limited. A Zoom link and password will be sent to participants before the start of the first class. To register, call 1-925-988-7703, email eybarra@rossmoor.com or register online at www. myrossmoor.com by clicking the Recreation & Golf Login link.
This course will bring participants up to speed on these findings as well as what is known about other exceptional “paranormal” phenomena such as out-of-body experiences and shared death experiences, evidentiary mediums, and reincarnation.
It also reports on how physicians and professors at prominent universities, medical schools and hospitals worldwide continue to study all of this.
