Club treasurers to speak at Oct. 8 Rossmoor Activities Council meeting

The Rossmoor Activities Council, recognized under the Rossmoor Walnut Creek (RWC) policies, connects almost 200 resident-run clubs and organizations in Rossmoor Walnut Creek. It is holding its next General Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Fireside Room. Club presidents, club treasurers, designated officers and others are welcome to attend.

The Oct. 8 meeting will focus on how clubs and organizations handle treasurer duties. The Council will feature a panel of treasurers from clubs to discuss their background, responsibilities, challenges, and specific approaches as club treasurers. After the panel presentation, the audience can ask questions, exchange experiences, and learn best practices.

Clubs are asked to let their club’s treasurer know about the meeting so they can attend. All club officers and others are welcome.

Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out name tags and socialize with other attendees.
