Ballroom dance classes continue on Wednesdays

Ballroom dance classes in the Diablo Room at Hillside are held on Wednesdays year round. The dances alternate each month to accommodate the different styles of ballroom dance. Couples and singles are welcome.

Two beginning classes will be offered on Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The 2 p.m. class will be in tango and Night Club 2 Step; the 3 p.m. class will be in waltz and West Coast Swing.

Classes are taught by dance instructor Gail Enright. New students who know some of the basics of these dances are welcome in any class. Contact Enright by phone at 1-925-890-8105 or email gailenright@comcast.net for questions regarding the classes and private and semi-private lessons.

Cost for a single drop-in class is $12, or save with two consecutive classes for $20, three consecutive classes for $25, and four consecutive classes for $30.

Classes are sponsored by the Sunday Dancers Club. The next dance is Sunday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Event Center. Open to all residents and non-residents sponsored by a club member.
