■ POST IT! is a community bulletin board that allows residents to view activities within Rossmoor, including movies and club events. This program runs between other programs when possible. ■ CLASSIC Arts Showcase includes video samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, museum art, musical theater, opera and orchestral performances, as well as classic film and archival documentaries. ■ FITNESS Fun. Exercise. 30 minutes. This program is scheduled every day at 9 a.m. The program changes daily to vary the exercises. See key at left for descriptions.

FITNESS CLASS KEY Rossmoor Television continues to offer more fitness class options. See corresponding # from the TV grid described below: FIT #0: Fitness Fun with Cathy as normally scheduled programming. FIT #1: Pilates. Exercise. 30 minutes. Bob Huff has been a fitness instructor for many years, including over 20 years at Rossmoor. He is a certified Medical Exercise Specialist, personal trainer and athletic trainer and is Pilates certified. In this program Huff runs through a routine that can be adapted for all levels. Huff is an employee of RWC and can be scheduled for personal training at the Fitness Center. FIT #2: Mindful Meditation. 30 minutes. Wendy Beckerman is a meditation instructor and certified yoga teacher. Her teaching style includes moment-to-moment mindful awareness to inspire her students to have a fulfilling experience of everyday life. FIT #3: Core Workout. 30 minutes. Ash Harrison is a personal trainer and instructor working at the Tice Creek Fitness Center in Rossmoor. Dino Giannakis is a certified personal trainer and is Muscle Activation Techniques JumpStart certified. He enjoys focusing one on one. In this program he provides a low-impact leg-strengthening routine for all levels. Giannakis is an employee of RWC and can be scheduled for personal training at the Fitness Center. FIT #5: Yoga for All. 30 minutes. Barbara Bureker’s emphasis on flexibility is the theme of this program. She shows a variety of body stretches that will keep viewers active and limber. FIT #6: Seated Stretching. 28 minutes. Adam Cleary is Rossmoor’s fitness and aquatics manager. Karel Nunnink has been teaching fitness for 35 years. He is a certified personal trainer and resistance training specialist and is indoor cycling certified. He is a former marathon runner, Ironman triathlete and Master’s ski champion. He talks about the need to exercise to keep the mind sharp and the body flexible.
■ Rossmoor TV BINGO. Game. 1 hour plus. On Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m. play TV Bingo in your home. Order a free bingo card by calling Rossmoor TV’s office in Creekside and play the first Tuesday of each month. Prizes are donated by local merchants for dinners, haircuts and even fresh flowers. Residents only. ■ The BIG BAND of Rossmoor. Music. 1 hour 37 minutes. (2026) The Big Band of Rossmoor aims to keep the music of the ‘30s and ‘40s alive for future generations. It’s a one-of-a-kind, multigenerational jazz orchestra bringing together musicians ages 13 to 86. This concert was recorded on Feb. 18, 2026. (2022) The Carolyn Sills Combo performs Cline’s greatest hits, honky tonk numbers, classic ballads, heart breakers, lesser-known gems and classic country favorites, along with some of its original, award-winning country, western and swing. ■ A Joint RECITAL. Concert. 1 hour. (2022) In this joint recital, hosted by the Rossmoor Opera Club, sopranos Hope Briggs and Shawnette Sulker perform a showcase of mostly French arias and melodies. The set includes Bizet’s Act 3 aria for Micaëla in “Carmen” and Fauré’s “Poème d’un jour,” as well as pieces by Delibes and Massenet. ■ C & C Duo. Music. 55 minutes. (2023) The C and C Duo performs a variety of well-known covers. This duo
is comprised of Cristina Hussey, a musical theater performer who studied in Hawaii and New York, and Christian Tumalan, a Grammy Award-winning pianist. ■ Rossmoor FIREWISE Town Hall, Sept. 16. Information. 1 hour + (2026) The Firewise Committee held a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 16 to discuss wildfire prevention measures in Rossmoor. The focus of this town hall was on the measures already taken, and those that are planned, to reduce wildfire risk in Rossmoor. ■ HISTORY of Rossmoor. Information. 1 hour. This series is written and narrated by John Nutley, president of the former Rossmoor Historical Society. Part 11: Changes and More Changes. This video covers the development that took place within the Rossmoor community, In the 1990s to early 2000s, the focus is on the adjustments within Golden Rain Foundation, the Mutuals and Medical Center. Part 12: Rossmoor in the Year 2000. This program covers the year 2000, changes were everywhere, from renovating the Gateway Complex to interpreting the Trust Agreement. ■ PRIDE 26 Variety Revue. 1 hour 32 minutes. (2026) Join the LGBTQ+ Alliance for their annual Pride Variety Revue, a lively celebration spanning the performing arts. This year’s lineup features comedy from Nancy Toder, musical performances by Jean Lerner and others, spoken word from Dylan Miles, and a dazzling drag performance by the marvelous Miss M. Organized by Lynda Kalb and hosted by emcees Bill Oman and Larry Crummer, this vibrant showcase brings together talent and community for an unforgettable show. ■ The Empty ENVELOPE. Book/Author. 49 minutes. (2026) In this BookEnds program, Rhona S. Weinstein and Harvey M. Weinstein are interviewed by Rae James, a member of the Published Writers of Rossmoor. The Weinsteins are a married couple who have written a work about family, historical reconstruction and psychological inquiry centering on the tragic life and death of Eisig Lubetzky, Rhona’s maternal grandfather. Rhona’s mother Lotte revealed late in life that her father, Eisign, had died by suicide, a truth long hidden by the family. “The Empty Envelope: Family Secrets and a Grandfather’s Legacy” is a riveting blend of mystery, biography and memoir, charting an almost 30-year investigation across continents, languages, and historical upheavals.
